This fungus has convex to plane cap with a depressed centre and sulcatestriate margin. The colour of this fungus is pale cream to buff coloured at the margin becoming darker and almost snuff brown to cigar brown at the centre. Its cap bears many greyish cream, floccose, pyramidal warts and more dense at the cap centre. The flesh is white and gills are white to pale cream. This fungus is fairly common in FRIM and other lowland dipterocarp forests in Peninsular Malaysia.
