Taxonomy

Description

The cap is white to ivory colour and it is convex that becoming plane and covered with white pyramidal warts which are easily washed off. The warts are crowded at the centre of the cap becoming more sparse and smaller towards the margin which extends over the cap. Its flesh is firm, white to ivory coloured and the gills are pale cream with moderately crowded. This striking fungus has a pleasant odour and it is frequently found at FRIM and in lowland rainforests of Peninsular Malaysia.
