This fungus has plano-convex to plane cap, innately fibrillose and brownish olive becoming paler towards the margin. The margin is striate about half-way towards the centre of the cap. The warts are larger and quite dense near the centre of the cap becoming much smaller and sparser towards the margin. The gills are white and crowded with very sine fibres at the edges. It grows solitarily and is rare at FRIM and other lowland rainforests in Peninsular Malaysia.
