Spotted House Gecko (Gekko monarchus) is a medium-sized gecko measuring around 10.2 cm in term of Snout-Vent Length (SVL). It has pale grey or fawn colour with pairs of dark blotches over the spine. Males have a preanofemoral pore series with 16-20 pores on each side. This species inhabits at tall evergreen, lowland rainforest and also at home in human habitations close to forest. It is active at night and its eggs are laid in pairs, hidden in decaying logs and forest litter. Its diet includes insects and other arthropods (Das, 2010).
