Asian Leaf Turtle or known as Kura-Kura Bergerigi in Malay is the species of semi-aquatic turtle belongs to family Geoemydidae. It lives in forested hill area at altitude between 300m-1,200m and feeds on fruits, leafy vegetation, invertebrates and carrion. This species has oval, unpatterned, dark brown carapace with fine black lines, dark speckled forehead and dark stripes temples and neck (Das, 2010). Juvenile has plastral scutes with a radiating pattern, orange-brown lines on the head and neck which fade with age and a plastral hinge that develops with growth. The female of Asian Leaf Turtle lays about 1 to 3 large and hard-shelled eggs per clutch.
