Nyctixalus pictus or commonly known as Cinnamon Frog. It is a small nocturnal tree frog species with a flattened body. Its snout obtusely pointed and its tympanum is distinct. The tips of the fingers and toes are expanded into round pads. The toes are about half-webbed and the fingers lack webbing. It also has a dorsal surfaces skin with spinose tubercles. This species inhabits in primary and secondary forests and it can be found most often in hilly terrain near water. The measurement of snout-vent length of this species is at about 30 - 35 mm. In Ulu Muda Forest Reserve, this species can be seen in bushes or small trees near rivers. This species can be found in Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
