The cap of this fungus is convex with a depressed centre, ivory to pale cream with patches or pale ochraceous scales, strongly striate from the margin halfway towards the cap centre, incurved margin and slightly sticky when moist. The gills are cream and relatively crowded. It grows gregariously on the ground under many dipterocarp at FRIM and is also found in Malaysia lowland rainforests.
