The cap of this fungus is convex and becoming plane with depressed centre, ochre to yellow brown, sticky when moist, epiderm/cuticle splitting from the margin into angular patches, margin incurved and shortly striate. Its flesh is spongy and yellowish white while the gills are crowded and yellow becoming greyish yellow with age. This fungus has a slightly fragrant odour and can be found growing gregariously on the ground in Malaysia lowland rainforests.
