The cap of this fungus is convex to plane with a slightly depressed centre, dull pistachio green to yellowish green, suede-like, with tiny cracked frost –like scales, striate at the margin and often showing the white cap underneath. It has pale cream flesh while the gills are crowded and cream. This fungus can be often found at FRIM and usually growing solitarily under various dipterocarp species.
