This fungus has convex cap then broadly funnel-shaped, ivory with a few small ochraceous spots, velvety, dry, with downturned margin and the cap surface peeling easily. Its flesh is firm and yellowish white. The gills are very crowded, narrow and cream to pale yellow. This fungus is usually found growing solitarily or in small groups and it is also found in lowland dipterocarp rainforest.
