This fungus has convex cap with a slight depression in the centre, waxy, yellowish brown to reddish brown at the centre. It flesh is cream while its gills are cream and well-spaced with a dark brown edge. This fungus can be found scattered or growing gregariously on the ground under various dipterocarp at FRIM and in Malaysia lowland rainforests.
