The cap of this fungus is convex becoming plane, smooth and suede-like, fawn and pale ochraceous to fulvous with tinges of yellow-orange. The flesh is white to pale yellow and unchanging upon exposure while the tube is pale greenish yellow. Its stipe is cream with yellowish ochre patches to yellowish brown and orange at base with bright yellow-orange basal mycelia. This fungus is also found in other lowland forests in Peninsular Malaysia.
