Goal 3 - Target 9 : Endangered Species Conservation

By 2025, the extinction of known threatened species has been prevented and their conservation status has been improved and sustained.
Action 9.1
Conduct conservation assessments for plant and animal species
Key Indicator:   By 2020, the National Red Data list on plants and animals is completed.
Action 9.2
Protect our threatened species
Key Indicator:   By 2025, all endangered and threatened species are protected by Federal and/or State legislation.
Action 9.3
Develop a national strategy for ex-situ conservation
Key Indicator:   By 2025, a network of national botanical gardens have been established.
