Abstract

This checklist of orchids of Peninsular Malaysia updates the changes in nomenclature based on current generic concepts as well as addition of newly described taxa and orchid records. The checklist includes citation of newly revised groups of orchids, synonyms used in Peninsular Malaysia, and general distribution of each species. A total of 972 species in 146 genera are currently listed from Peninsular Malaysia.
